2. The Gatlinburg SkyBridge

Gatlinburg SkyBridge at SkyLift ParkWalking across the Gatlinburg SkyBridge is another one of the unique attractions in Gatlinburg.Visitors get to it by riding the SkyLift and crossing the SkyDeck. The SkyBridge is the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America. The bridge is 1,800 feet above sea level and stretches to almost 700 feet. As you look out, admire stunning views of the Great Smoky Mountains. This is why the bridge is one of the “Top 10 Most Scenic Spots in the U.S.”If you’re feeling really daring, go to the halfway point of the bridge to stand on the 30 feet of glass and look all the way down.

3. The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum

The Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum is a unique museum in Gatlinburg. We see salt and pepper shakers everyday, yet we don’t often think about their history or where they came from. This attraction in Gatlinburg was started from one woman’s expansive collection of salt and pepper shakers. They come in many different sizes, shapes, and colors. In addition to the collection, you can also see and learn some other interesting things. Hear the story of a $60 million salt shaker and learn about where salt and pepper come from! If the museum inspires you, you can get a unique salt and pepper shaker set of your very own. There are fun designs that include popular cartoon characters and depictions of the Great Smoky Mountains’ most popular animal, the black bear!
