The festival takes place the entire month of October, and there’s so many reasons you’ll want to be a part of it. This really is one festival you don’t want to miss. The entire park is decked out for the fall harvest season. They have a special menu at all the bakeries and eateries with mouthwatering foods and fall flavors, like fresh apple pies and kettle corn. 3. Ride The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel
The changing of the leaves is one of the best sites to see in the mountains. And there is no better way to see them than from the top of the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel. It’s one of the largest and best rides in town, and you can see the along the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and all the way into the mountains!
4. Celebrate Halloween at The Island
Celebrate Halloween with the fun, free events at The Island in Pigeon Forge. Enjoy trick-or-treating in a safe and controlled environment. All the stores at The Island will be passing out candy! There will be rides on the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel and kids will be dressed up for Halloween costume contests!
