When you stop by The Ole Smoky Moonshine Barn at The Island, you can sample some authentic white lightnin’ for a $5 tasting fee (which is applied to any purchase you make in the store). In addition to its great moonshine, The Ole Smoky Barn is also known for its free live bluegrass music and special concerts from big name country artists.
4. Experience The Escape Game
The Escape Game at The Island is like a live action video game! Participants are “locked” in a room and must escape in 60 minutes or less by solving a series of puzzles and completing challenges. The Escape Game offers a number of different themed adventures, including a Prison Break, Art Heist, Expedition to Mars, and a Covert Anti-Terror Mission.
5. Eat at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen
Paula Deen is the biggest name in Southern cuisine and her restaurant at The Island certainly doesn’t disappoint! Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and features some of Deen’s most beloved recipes. Highlights of the menu include the Best Ever Southern Fried Chicken, Cheesy Meatloaf, and the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake.
