Great experience and had a wonderful long weekend getaway !

The cabin was perfect for my family. It was secluded and we adored the beautiful surroundings. We loved the hot tub and the kids enjoyed the upstairs game room. The location was perfect. It was away from the busy roads but close enough to get to most of the attractions without any issue.

It was a beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. It was 15 minutes away from most of the major attractions. I read complaints about cobwebs, but with 20 ft ceilings, they'd have to raise the cost $1,000 per week to have the windows, rafters, etc cleaned. It's a great place to stay. The outdoor hot tub was a big bonus!

The cabin was great. It was clean and ready when we arrived.

Great location and view. Cabin had plenty of sleeping spaces for the kids and they loved it. My husband loved the place. I wasn’t overly impressed. There was a smell to the cabin that was unflattering. I thought the throw pillows and blankets could be a bit more updated, but I guess if you are allowing pets you don’t want anything too fancy. I loved the fact that it was by itself and not right on top of another cabin. There were two cabins close, but there were plenty of trees in between to keep Some privacy.

We brought the grandkids with us for a four day stay. One had never been to the Gatlinburg/PF area or the mountains. They were thrilled to stay in a cabin and we enjoyed it. The cabin (Dare to Bear) was very nice and semi secluded and I don’t really have any complaints other than the shower heads in the bathrooms need updated. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub and scenic view. Express check in/ out always a plus.

Cabin was gorgeous, spacious, and well-equipped for our stay. Our only suggestion would be to update the hot tub and use bear-proof trash cans. We would stay again!

We were there for a lazy, long weekend and stayed at the cabin for the full trip. The game room and hot tub were enjoyed by both the kids and adults. My only recommendation would be to provide some pot holders. We prepared most of our meals and couldn’t find any pot holders. We also produced a great deal of garbage and only one garbage can had a lid. Thankfully the critter that got in the garbage didn’t make too much of a mess and we cleaned it up easily. We made some great memories and plan to return... probably in a larger cabin next time.

Overall the experience was good. There were three issues we noticed: 1) The wifi did not work 2) The fireplace did not work 3) there was trash in the yard including glass, cigarette butts, paper, plastic, and cans.

The cabin was a great place to bring a pet. It was also secluded and had a nice view. The hot tub worked well and was nice. However, the football table was broken and the the blinds in the living room had seen better days and should be replaced. We could not get the electric fireplace to work. Overall, it was a nice stay. Checkout was easy.

We had some problems with our contactless check out but overall we had a good experience.

Great cabin! Enjoyed all of the space and the location.

We were looking for a getaway last-minute and were able to book easily. We loved the cabin, very clean, the kids loved the captain’s beds and the games (Dare to Bear). This cabin was well stocked with the kitchen necessities.

Very good, cabin was clean. The only 2 things it needed was a broom to sweet the floors and a gas grill on the porch. The charcoal grill out in the grass was decent, but I had to wait on the rain to pass one night before cooking.

our experience was nice. Friendly staff and very easy to book. The cabin was gorgeous and clean. We will definitely be booking through aunt bugs again.

Off the beaten path but fine for what we were looking for. Hot tub, pool table. PAC man, foose ball table what else do you need. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay. A major plus to bring our fur babies along.

The home was very nice. We enjoyed the game room and the cute beds made into the walls. The location was far enough out to feel secluded but close enough to everything. The main con I found was the floors were dirty. My family never wears pur shoes in the house out of respect for the homeowner. My daughters were in bare feet and their feet were black after we had been there a couple of hours. The floor in the gameroom was sticky, I assume from not being mopped for some time. I was going to mop it myself but there is no mop or broom in the rental. I had a spill to clean up that required a broom and it was a pain trying to get it all cleaned with no broom. Overall we had a great stay, and I would give it 5 stars if the floors had been clean.

Great location with easy access to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. IN general, the cabin was fine. However, it is smaller than appears in photos; mattresses are in bad shape - squeaky, thin and uncomfortable; hot tub was not clean with dirt floating in it.

Dare to Bear exceeded my expectations! It was spotless and so charming. The mattresses were a little lumpy/worn and could be replaced and the bedrooms were extremely hot while the common area was comfortable but other than that we loved it. The hot tub was so nice too and management was very professional and kind. The cabin is tucked away from the hustle and bustle but in just a few short minutes you’re in town. We will definitely be booking this cabin again.

Some of the linens had little hairs on them, no one came to collect the garbage outside which lead for the bears to make a big mess(we had to clean it up), the fireplace was broken, the water in the jacuzzi could have been fresher, many hairballs surrounding the floors, and the drainage in the shower was bad. Other than that, we really really enjoyed our stay!

We met up with our daughter whos going to Germany and we couldnt have enjoyed the cabin more or her company. Someone forgot to leave one dishwaher cleaning tab. were very happy

From the pictures and description, this looks like a wonderful cabin, and the location is absolutely wonderful. The cabin isn't horrible, but just a few things to note. We had a family of 4, so our son slept in the loft. Thing to note, the floor of the loft is the ceiling of the bedrooms. So as soon as he was up, everyone was up.

The cabin wasn't as clean as we would have liked. It's also a bit worn down. For instance, simple caulking between the tub and the floor is half done. The bed mattresses needed to be replaced as they were really bad. People have obviously let there dogs run free and not kenneled in this cabin as you can see the scratch marks on the walls.

I think the cabin itself at one point was a great cabin, but has been worn down over time.

It was decorated cute. The layout is adorable. The cabin had plenty to do as far as entertainment and it’s conveniently located. We had a blast and will definitely return.

Everything was great. loved the cabin. The gentleman I spoke with at the rental place was super friendly and helpful. The brand new sofa was a nice bonus.

Cabin was just what we expected. About 7 miles from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Everything was wonderful. The cabin was easy to find with the find my cabin app. The cabin was exactly as described and very clean. We had everything we needed. Thank you!!

#238 Dare to Bear is a great cabin! Enjoyed our stay!

We loved the cabin and the location but wished it was cleaner on arrival. There are many things there but some other basics that we thought should be there are a broom and salt and pepper for starters.

All good. Very quick to respond to request. Location very good.

Our family had a great time and were very sad to leave. Everything was great. We hope to come back again

Dare to Bear was clean and well stocked. Very comfortable.

The cabin was very nice and met our expectations. The location was a little further away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge than we normally like to stay but it was easy to find and get to.

Aunt Bugs did Great. The cabin was in a nice location. The exterior is very welcoming. But 2 other cabins are within 100 feet. One was empty so it really wasn't an issue for us. The Blinds in the corner by the kitchen were broke, there is varnish in the shower from sealing the wood up, the shower curtain is a bit cheap, the microwave has a loud vibration on it after it runs for a few minutes, and we paid for cleaning, but there were cob webs in many locations. What is the deal with the second bedroom mattress? It is hard and very loud no matter how little you move on it. Some money needs to be spent on mattresses! I don't want anyone to think it wasn't nice to stay there, we all loved being able to stay there. We want the next experience to be even better for the next guest.

Good. Everything was nice. Only issues were the air mattresses were not blown up and we had to search for a pump. And no one came to get the trash so everyday we had to pick up garbage from animals getting into it each night

Cabin was clean and spacious. Close to where we needed to be daily.

We had a good time. It was smaller than expected but over all a nice place. The hot tub definitely needed to be cleaned though.

Overall things were good, pool stick needs replaced and there was no chalk for the tips. Other minor issues were brought to the office attention at checkout. This is the fourth year to stay with aunt bugs

Check in was a breeze, quick and courteous. So thankful for that after a six hour drive with a 2 year old. We had a couple of issues with the cabin but feel it will be taken care of for the next guest.

The check-in process was fast and easy and check out was just the touch of a button. Our cabin was clean and neat. We loved the what to bring list it was really helpful. Our overall stay and experience was wonderful and we can not wait to come back!

The cabin was perfect! Perfect size for our family of four. The drive was nice and easy and very close to everything with a great view. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we could ever need. We stayed for four nights and it felt like we were home. Absolutely loved everything about it.

Reservation was very easy. Check in was easy. Check out wasn't quite as easy since I did not want to download the ap. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Location was wonderful. At first I was kind of intimidated with the warnings of extra charges if we did this or that but found those things weren't an issue for us.

The cabin was amazing! Just like it showed in pictures. Very clean and had a "homey" feel to it. The staff was just as wonderful!
